September 20 & 21

Attention Civil War buffs—Come and see battles between the Union and Confederate troops with infantry, artillery and cavalry as the Christian W. Klay Winery presents a re-enactment on September 20 & 21. 

The 105^th Pennsylvania Volunteers Infantry, 3^rd Regiment Infantry Maryland Volunteers, 5th Regiment Virginia Volunteer Infantry, 4th Virginia Artillery, 3rd Pennsylvania Cavalry and the 74th Infantry Regiment New York will participate in this event.  

Between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. both days, visitors will have access to volunteer reenactors in Union and Confederate campsites staging typical activities of the assault. Soldiers dressed in authentic reproduction uniforms will be on hand to answer questions. Three branches of service -- artillery, cavalry, and infantry -- will be portrayed, as well as medics.

There is a $3 daily admission fee for the reenactment.

A $5 donation at the gate benefits Uniontown Hospital, Touchstone Center for the Arts and the Raymond E. Malone Scholarship Fund.

Get ready for a mysterious Halloween experience as the
winery presents their special edition of their signature event.  This year's Halloween edition of the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater is guaranteed to be a suspense builder.
